Statement on Medieval Times Management's Trademark Lawsuit

Medieval Times Performers United and the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA) released the following statement in response to Medieval Times management's trademark lawsuit:

The frivolous lawsuit filed by Medieval Times today against its own employees and their designated bargaining representative is in brazen violation of the National Labor Relations Act. It is a grotesque attempt to retaliate against workers for exercising their legally protected right to form a union and bargain collectively. But it will fail. It will not only embolden Medieval Times’ employees at its New Jersey castle to fight harder for a fair contract, it will inspire the employees at its other castles across the county to organize and do the same. Additionally, AGVA will pursue all available legal remedies in response to Medieval Times’ unlawful thuggery.
